Portland - 2 nights

Day 1: Arrival in Portland

Welcome to Oregon! Gather with your Tour Director and fellow travelers at tonight’s welcome dinner.

Day 2: Sightseeing tour of Portland, Colombia River Gorge & Multnomah Falls

Included meal: Breakfast

Discover Portland, the “City of Roses,” on a guided sightseeing tour.

  • Drive alongside the Willamette River to downtown Portland’s Pearl District and stroll past the once-industrial neighborhood’s chic shops, cafes, and lofts

  • Stroll through the zen gardens and manicured landscapes of the Portland Japanese Garden

  • Admire the beautiful blooms at the International Rose Test Garden

This afternoon, take a scenic drive along the King of Roads byway to view two of the top sites in the Mount Hood area—the Columbia River Gorge and Multnomah Falls.

  • Admire views from the Vista House lookout

  • Stop to admire Bridal Falls and Multnomah Falls, the second-highest year-round waterfall in the United States

  • Take photos of the falls before returning to Portland

Seattle - 2 nights

Day 3: Seattle via Fort Vancouver & Mount St. Helens Visitor Center

Make several stops as you travel to Seattle, Washington today.

  • Visit the Fort Vancouver National Historic Site Visitor Center

  • Hear about how the area became a hub for fur trading in the Pacific Northwest during the 19th-century

  • Drive along scenic Route 504 to Mount St. Helens Visitor Center, taking in spectacular views of the volcano’s horseshoe-shaped crater and stark blast zone as you go

  • Learn about the volcano’s geological and human history as you watch award-winning films and hear from park rangers

  • Enjoy free time to shop for souvenirs in the visitor’s center and take a short walk around the park

Day 4: Sightseeing tour of Seattle & harbor cruise

Get an introduction to Seattle’s most iconic sites on today’s guided tour.

  • Visit the Space Needle, an icon of the Pacific Northwest, and take in spectacular views of the city

  • Stop at the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park Visitor Center

  • Pass the Fish Ladder, built along Seattle’s locks to assist migrating salmon

  • See the campus at the University of Washington, one of the oldest universities on the West Coast

  • Admire Seattle’s architecture and beautiful green spaces as you wander through the city’s neighborhoods

  • Enjoy free time at the iconic Pike Place Market

This afternoon, enjoy a harbor cruise to view the city’s skyline and landmarks from the water.

Victoria, British Columbia - 2 nights

Day 5: Ferry to Victoria

Included meal: Breakfast

Drive along the Olympic National Park coastline to Port Angeles, where you’ll board a ferry and cruise across the Salish Sea to Victoria, British Columbia.

Day 6: Sightseeing tour of Victoria & wildlife cruise

Set off on a guided tour of Victoria, a city that’s known for having the most beautiful gardens and mildest weather in Canada.

  • Stroll along the charming Inner Harbour to see the Parliament Buildings and the Empress Hotel

  • Explore the colorful and eclectic downtown area

  • Head out into the countryside to visit the 55-acre Butchart Gardens, a National Historic Site of Canada

  • Learn about the Butchart family and how they turned a former limestone quarry into a sprawling, beautiful green space

  • Explore the lush gardens to see the wide variety of colorful flowers

  • Enjoy free time for lunch

Join local, certified naturalists and marine experts for a guided boat ride along the coast of Vancouver Island this afternoon.

  • Sail to the southwestern tip of the island and visit Race Rocks Ecological Reserve

  • See many of the rare birds, mammals, urchins, and fish that live on the reserve, which is one of the Canada’s Marine Protected Areas

  • Learn about and take pictures of many of these animals including sea lions, seals, and porpoises

  • Keep a lookout for whales that often breach in the open waters

Vancouver - 3 nights

Day 7: Ferry to Vancouver & sightseeing tour

  • Visit Granville Island and Stanley Park, a 1,000-acre public space

  • See the historic Gastown district

  • View Canada Place and the Vancouver waterfront

Day 8: Whistler Village via Shannon Falls

Included meal: Breakfast

Make a photo stop at Shannon Falls before driving along the Sea-to-Sky Highway, one of the most scenic routes in North America, to Whistler Village.

  • Tour the village and spend free time exploring the quaint town square

  • Ride on the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, which crosses from Whistler to Blackcomb mountain

  • Soak in the spectacular views of the valley below

Day 9: Free day in Vancouver

Included meals: Breakfast, Farewell dinner

Enjoy a free day in Vancouver. This evening, celebrate your trip at a farewell dinner.

Day 10: Flight home
